The EIIP Virtual Classroom offered an interactive session conducted by Amy Sebring, EIIP Technical Projects Coordinator, entitled "Can You Pass the Road Test to Drive on the Information Highway?" The test featured 8 questions about basic computer and Internet skills; Virtual Classroom participants were urged to answer spontaneously. At the end of the test, participants were encouraged to respond to questions for feedback regarding needed topics deemed suitable via distance learning for professional development.

Amy is the Webmaster and frequent moderator for the EIIP. She previously worked for the City of Corpus Christi Emergency Management Office as an Information Specialist. She has been described as a "power user," and many of her previous jobs involved managing information. Her computing experience began with a Commodore 128, and she says she is "older than DOS."
