LLOYD W. BOKMAN

Lloyd Bokman is the U.S. Dept. of Energy Liaison/Emergency Planner with the Ohio Emergency Management Agency and is also responsible for the State of Ohio's ESF #10 Hazardous Materials Contingency Plan. Mr. Bokman previously worked as an Ohio EMA Hazardous Materials Planner providing planning and exercise assistance to the Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) and County Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs) in the northeast sector of the State of Ohio. Starting in 1988 he was a radiological emergency response planner with Ohio EMA and worked with Ohio's nuclear power plants and their surrounding counties.

Lloyd has been a member of the NFPA 1600 Technical Committee on Disaster/ Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs since 1993 and has served as its Chair since 1998. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Akron and is currently a graduate student at Ohio State's School of Public Policy and Management. Lloyd has previous experience as a Captain and EMT in the fire service.
