ROBERT L. MARTIN
Robert L. Martin, MPC, is Director of Partnership Development and Communications for the ComCARE Alliance in Washington, DC. He oversees the involvement of local, state and federal emergency response agencies in the development of ComCARE's Emergency Provider Access Directory (EPAD) and as a liaison between project-specific stakeholder leaders, staff, and national member organizations.
He has 15 years experience in public safety and emergency services through his former role as Executive Director of the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch (NAED), a leading certification and standard-setting organization, and as program manager for the annual Navigator and EuroNavigator emergency dispatch management conferences. He has also served as a consultant, writer, editor, publisher, and in numerous leadership positions with non-profit, community, and professional associations. He holds a bachelors degree in business marketing and a masters degree in professional communication
